Midcomp hosts demonstration event for Sign-A-Rama Group

Midcomp recently hosted a demo session for the Sign-A-Rama group at their Demo Centre in Randburg that served to close off the proceedings for the Annual Sign-a-Rama conference.

This event was orchastrated by Kurt Tyack - General Manager SIGNARAMA and EmbroidMe South Africa and was attended by 21 out of the 24 branches.  Sign-a-Rama world-wide has made the decision to shift from Roland, their original source for digital printing equipment, and partner with HP, primarily because their eco-friendly, LATEX technology has such synergy with Sign-a-Rama’s sustainable drive.

Kurt visited the HP facility in Barcelona in Sept 2010 after attending the Sign-a-Rama Masters Conference and acquinted himself with HP LATEX technology. On his return to South Africa he set about interviewing fellow industry players to assess the South African HP supply chain. It was an easy decision to make, and Midcomp’s strong customer service record and technical support capabilities tipped the scales in their favour. Midcomp has now been officially appointed as the supplier of HP LATEX equipment as part of Sign-a-Rama’s new store packages.

The franchisees who visited the Midcomp Demo Center were treated to a catered breakfast and refreshments, after which the formal part of the proceedings kicked of. Navin Jeewanlall, Midcomp Colour Management Expert stepped customers through an in depth HP and Midcomp portfolio, with special focus on HP Latex technology. Delegates received gift bags with samples and presentation materials and videos on branded flash drives.
